Melodye Gardner-Humphrey PA-C


Melodye Gardner-Humphrey was born in Abilene, TX, but raised in Crawford, TX. She graduated in 2000 from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 2002 from Southwest Texas State University with a Master of Education degree in Physical Education. In 2006, Melodye again graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Since then, she has practiced at the Luling Community Health Center in Luling, TX, In 2010 Melodye joined the staff at Wimberley Medical Clinic where she treats all ages. Melodye, her husband and two children reside in Wimberley with their dog Daisy.


Tony Gibbs, PA-C

Tony is the newest member to our team and will provide primary care services, including preventative care, acute care, and chronic disease management, to patients of all ages.

Gibbs earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Baylor University and a master’s degrees in music education from the University of North Texas. After a long career as a band director, Gibbs generated an interest in medical sciences and returned to school. He began his basic studies at Texas State University and was later accepted to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. While there, Gibbs earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree, with a strong emphasis in family medicine.


Tony and his wife Janice have been longtime residents of Kyle, TX and have two adult children, Sarah and Stuart. He is very excited to begin his second career at Ranch Road Family Medicine and is excited to be given the opportunity to provide healthcare services to this community.



Dr. Ivan Ramirez

Dr. Ramirez was born in Edinburg, Texas and raised in Mission, Texas. He finished his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1995 in the field of Family Practice. Dr. Ramirez practiced in Cuero, Texas for nine years before coming to Wimberley. In 2008 Dr. Ramirez bought the practice from Dr. Hudspeth.

He treats the whole family... from babies to great-grandparents. He is accepting new patients and he is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Ramirez is married and has four children. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Hays County Medical Society.
Virginia G. Miller, PhD, RN, FNP-BC

Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Ohio, "Jini" came to Texas to pursue her doctoral degree in nursing research at The University of Texas at Austin. Soon thereafter, she moved to Lubbock where she took a position on the faculty of the Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. While teaching there, she completed the family nurse practitioner program in 1996.
 
In 2007, she and her family moved to San Marcos where she continues her faculty role with nurse practitioner students in the school's distance education program. One day each week, Jini practices at the Wimberley Medical Clinic as a family nurse practitioner. 

Working with Dr. Ramirez, the staff and the patients at the clinic is a high point in her week.
